Free Yourself from Riba 2030

Alhamdulillah,  we are working to acquire Malakat Mall Building in Cyberjaya Business District.   And now the building owner Setia Haruman Sdn. Bhd. has agreed to sell the building.  What next is to raise the funds, without resorting to the traditional source of interest bearing loans.

We want to raise RM150 million,  after deducting the purchase price – the balance fund will be kept for maintenance and upkeep of the building.

In Malakat Mall,  merchants do not pay any rental.   Instead,  the merchants share its revenue with the Mall,  creating the best model of partnership.

The mall focuses on attracting customers, the merchants focus on selling products and services to the customers.

It is a difficult model to implement even in a blue ocean environment,  pursuit of success only in this world.   It requires a high level of trust to declare and share the true revenue.   However in our green ocean environment – the Mall and the Merchants are seeking to be successful in BOTH worlds.  It removes this major implementation hurdle.

In this initiative we want to take this beautiful model to the next level.  By inviting community members to infaq (donate) for Brainy Bunch Foundation to acquire the building in which Malakat Mall currently operates.  The revenue share allocated to us will now go straight to our revolving NORIBA Infaq.

Why is this important?

By acquiring the building within the next 12 months, we will remove a major risk whereby the landlord can give notice for us to move out of the building.

Malakat Mall already operates without a rental model with our merchants.  With both parties working towards maximizing revenue,  we can now focus to accelerate forward.

How to Infaq?

1 million members x RM 100 =  RM100 million a month.

And we look forward to designating Malakat Mall Cyberjaya as a NORIBA zone.
